Tucson Rodeo kicked back up today after the 100th Tucson Rodeo Parade. Today’s action brought new leaders atop the Bareback standings with Myles Carlson of Evanston, WY earning a score of 88. Statler Wright of Beaver, UT moved straight into first place in Saddle Bronc with the day’s high score of 86. In Tie-Down Roping, Britt Bedke of Oakley, ID earned an aggregate time of 22.3 on two runs to join the top 12. Page Jones of Wayne, OK joins the top 12 in Women’s Barrel Racing with today’s time of 17.84. And in Bull Riding, Ky Hamilton of Australia jumped to the top of the leaderboard with a score of 85.5. The action continues tomorrow and Saturday as contestants compete for their last chance to make it into the 100th Tucson Rodeo Finals on Sunday.
Tucson Rodeo performances continue Friday, February 21 through Sunday, February 23. Tickets are sold out through the rest of the rodeo.
