2025 Second Performance Results

The 100th anniversary of the Tucson Rodeo continued today. Bareback Riding started the afternoon with Dean Thompson of Altamont, UT, current world champion, earned the day’s high score of 84 on Beutler and Son’s Relicious Meats Quite Fancy.  Marc Joiner, Loranger, LA had the fastest time of 5.5 seconds in Steer Wrestling. While brothers John Gaona and Steven Gaona of Winkelman AZ had the day’s best time of 6.9 seconds in Team Roping. In Saddle Bronc, Jake Watson of Hudson’s Hope, British Columbia, scored 77 on Beutler & Son’s Redlicious Meats Clyde.  

Tie-Down Roping was led by Michael Otero, Perrin, TX, with the best time of 9.4 seconds. Kynzie McNeill of Limon, CO had the day’s best time of 17.79 in Women’s Barrel Racing. The day concluded with Bull Riding where Hunter Kelly, San Tan Valley AZ, earned the high score of 83 on Beutler and Son’s Scorpion.  

Monday and Tuesday are SLACK, timed events only with no rodeo performances. Thursday Feb 20, after the 100th Tucson Rodeo Parade, the Tucson Rodeo kicks back up with the 3rd rodeo performance and continues through the finals on Sunday Feb. 23.
