2025 First Performance Results

The 100th anniversary of the Tucson Rodeo kicked off today in front of a sold-out crowd! After a celebratory fireworks display, the day started with Bareback Riding’s Cole Hollen of Liberty Hill, TX scoring 77 points on Beutler & Son’s Hell of a Night for the day’s high score. Matt Jodie of Churchrock, NM had the day’s best time of 5.7 in Steer Wrestling. Ben Folsom of Jackson, MT and Chance Moldenhauer of American Falls, ID had the day’s best time of 6.3 in Team Roping. Then Darcy Wokner of Synder, TX scored 82 points on Beutler & Son’s Last Dance. Quint Bell of Paradise Valley, NV had the day’s best time of 12.7 in tie-down roping. Makala Pierce of Poolville, TX had the day’s best time of 17.76 in Women’s Barrel Racing. The afternoon ended with Bull Riding! Scott James Wells of Goondiqindi, Australia rode Beutler & Son’s Moody Muley for the day’s high score of 83.5.  The next rodeo performance is tomorrow, Sunday Feb 16th with Junior Rodeo starting at 12:30pm and ProRodeo starting at 2pm. Gates open at 10am and tickets are available at tucsonrodeo.com.
