Tucson Rodeo Fans and Supporters:

2020 started off great. The Tucson Rodeo was a success thanks to our fans, contestants, volunteers, and sponsors. Then the pandemic hit where the Tucson Rodeo Committee was forced to cancel our annual Tucson Rodeo Charity Golf Tournament. In November, the Committee made the extremely tough decision to cancel the 2021 Tucson Rodeo. However, we continue to look for opportunities to connect with our fans, supporters and give back to the community safely.

The Tucson Rodeo Committee, Inc. is a non-profit organization who contributes to many groups, clubs, and charities.

Power Over Predators is one of these groups. They work with young teens to recognize and avoid predators, whether online or in person. Cienega H.S., Tanque Verde 4-H Club, The Horse Advisory Board, Unleashed Youth Ministry, Desert View H.S. baseball and softball teams and Littletown Ranchers 4-H Club all volunteer during the rodeo by parking cars, selling programs and maintaining the rodeo grounds. These groups will be financially impacted by the cancellation of this years’ rodeo.

In an effort to continue to support these groups and connect with you, the Committee has decided to organize the Tucson Rodeo Charity Golf Tournament to be held on Saturday, May 1st. Our goal is to raise funds to supplement the void the above-mentioned groups will otherwise suffer from the cancellation of the rodeo. We cannot succeed without your support.

We need golfers and sponsors. We hope you can join us and appreciate your continued support.

Thank you,

Michael Payne
Board of Directors/Golf Tournament Chairman
